Richard is the grandson of Alice Bowyer, and great grandson of John Bowyer of Loddon Court Farm.
Richard is a Chartered Accountant and is recently retired having held a number of senior management positions in Financial Services. His interests include fly fishing, skiing and badminton and he is also a season ticket holder at Reading Football Club. He is married with two daughters, both of whom have graduated and are pursuing their own careers.
